BABFT.com -  It's your third year attending the Big Ass Bass Fishing Tournament and this time as two time defending champions and you are also the returning "biggest fish catcher" from last year and you are so smart and charming and good looking and modest...is it something you guys do or is more luck?

Honesty, I think it has to do with determination and concentration.  It's about being able to hit the tight spots with the right lure at the right time and give the right presentation.  My team mate and I have a process which narrows it down petty quickly.  Our presentation skills are unmatched...even by live bait.  Our team work is uncanny.  We've been fishing together for so long we really don't even have to talk...something happens...we spring into action.  It's like a friggin bass bustin' ballet'...friggin beautiful.

BABFT.com - How did you become so good with the net?

Kuta- It has nothing to do with skill and everything to do with desire.  NOBODY wants it more than me and that's that. I simply want it more than they do...

BABFT.com - Why do you use a Zebco?

Kuta - "Why the hell wouldn't you use a Zebco?  You can ask my fishing partner...I'm probably the busiest fisherman you will ever meet.  I'm driving, I'm fishing, I'm drinking and eatin orange slices, I'm talkin', I'm doing the anchor, I'm managing the net as my partner hammers'em in.  Using a Zebco allows me to take care of what ever needs to be taken care of at any given moment.  I can just set it down in mid reel if something else requires my immediate attention and I don't need to worry about coming back to a birdsnest which will put my out of commission for a bit and cost me some wet line time..  See, there's no "I" in team but there is every bit of some "me" and I make sure I give all of me, every time, any where.

We aren't two times defending champions for nothing and I'd appreciate it if you addressed me as such after every question!
